Sanden Manufacturing Poland is a part of Japanese Sanden Corporation – a leading world manufacturer of compressors for car air conditioning systems. Production in plant located in Polkowice sub-zone of Legnica Special Economic Zone started in 2005. Main production processes including die casting of aluminum housing parts, machining of aluminum components and pistons and assembly of finished compressors are fulfilled within over 40,800 square meters of the plant. Annually Polkowice plant produces over 1,6 million of compressors which are delivered to assembly plants of the biggest European car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, GM, Ford, Volvo, Jaguar or McLaren. Currently SMP produces over 40% of compressors manufactured by Sanden Group in Europe.
